      Exactly like murtabak, but thai. And I'm still looking for good halal restaurants in the eastern suburbs. There aren't many/any.

          cool! I should try this cuz i really miss murtabak! and the pickled bawang!!! aih...i miss pasar ramadhan :( roti jala, ayam percik, nasi tomato, nasi dagang, keropok lekor...OMG!!!!! WHY??!!!!!

          If you miss murtabak, then I think Mamak and Jimmy's would be my choice, and in that order. I miss my best friend's rendang ayam. I have her grandmother's recipes but it's not the same.

          yeah i have tried the bananas at Chat Thai. only thing is i only like pengat pisang with pisang raja..i know beggars cant be choosers...but it's just so hard!! tsk tsk tsk
