Adam plz try to avoid it.. Shark finning refers to the removal and retention of shark fins, accompanied by the discarding of the rest of the shark body into the ocean. These sharks then die from their injuries, suffocation, or are eaten because they are unable to move normally.

nrn5 I agree with the above statement. Shark finning is a horrible, millions and millions of sharks die each year for a food item that is flavored with chicken broth. Stop shark finning.
factorygirl Shark fins are NOT a delicacy. It is NOT medicinal. Some traditions need to stay in the past....PLEASE....stop supporting this barbaric and cruel economy.
kakeordeth anyone who eats sharks fin soup is supporting the slaughter and annihilation of a crucial apex predator. without sharks our oceans ecosystem will collapse. this bowl of vomit-looking soup disgusts me on SO many levels.
