    Firm, smooth, and snappy. Taste is of sweet seawater, with a slight metallic-ness (it's not unpleasant).

    A must-eat here, as far as I'm concerned. Not what I would consider the "purest" form, what with the added ponzu, katsuobushi, and onion, but their addition makes it oh-so wonderful. The fish itself is silky-smooth without being mushy. Rice is savory and not content to just be there, but contributes significantly to the flavor. Exquisite.

    Whooo I got a huge wasabi hit on this one. I'd list the ingredients, but they are the standard mix of trendy maki veggies, with a piquant cilantro sauce and a red pepper sauce in the middle. It was nice, but dang, the wasabi was a kicker!

    Wow. Honestly, this was terrific. Crispy-sticky rice balls with spicy king crab with cilantro and a jalapeño sliver. The jalapeño cut the richness perfectly in a dish screaming with umami. I really, really enjoyed this, in a comfort food way.

    OK...a whole lot going on here. Mango, roasted red peppers, marinated artichoke hearts and cream cheese, topped with cashews and served with mango and kiwi-wasabi sauce. Yeah, roll's got cream cheese in it, but this is only vaguely related to sushi so I didn't care. It was tasty and sweet.

    Inauthentic, but I didn't come to Ra for real sushi. Spicy salmon, avocado, jalapeño, cilantro, cucumber, and sriracha. A good contrast of crisp and soft, spicy and cool, and soft and crunchy.

    Edamame with hoisin (I think?) and sesame seeds. Never seen edamame dressed up like this. It's good. the hoisin goes well with the toasty seed and the characteristic soy flavor.
