Spotted July 11, 2010One of the better tamales I've had! Moist with crispy edges, and the green sauce is great---tangy and a nice compliment to the rich masa-pork mixture. -

Spotted July 11, 2010A bit on the dry side, but not enough to detract from enjoying the tacos. Flavorful. -

Spotted March 27, 2010My usual meal when the seasonal item isn't my favorite. Shrimp, scallops, and whitefish all beautifully barbequed and served with sides---here, their perfect mashed potatoes and rice. It's a real nice dinner or large lunch. -

Spotted January 10, 2010I loooove chile verde. Along with carnitas, I find this dish to be a great baromter of the quality of a Mexican restaurant. There are tender, with the fruity taste that comes with good chiles. It's thicker and not as soupy as other places are. -

Spotted December 15, 2009At tyhe Naranja truck in Irvine. For those not familiar with the Koji trucks, they Tweet their planned locations and show up at those times, in different places across LA and Orange County. The Naranja truck is the OC one. These trucks are so well-frequented that they occasionally run out of food. These tacos were Korean Chicken and Spicy Pork, $2 each. The corn tortillas were fresh and hearty (PERFECT to be precise) and the meats were topped with cabbage. Insane. Korean-Mexican fusion could go so wrong in so many ways, but everything fits here.-
Alexa Andrzejewski So they're all they're cracked up to be?
Samuel Moehring That and much, much more.
