Sad to say goodbye tonight to @Nombe, at least in restaurant form. Mari & Gil have been great friends to Foodspotting from the day we interviewed Fiona there to our Okonomiyaki party this year. Thanks for bringing some of the first Japanese Izakaya food to SF!
Butternut Squash Ramen! Now I know where to take my #vegetarian friends... This is a serious bowl of ramen, as rich and thick as tonkotsu broth, but with that farmers market freshness we know and love from Hapa's stand. A uniquely San Francisco take on ramen.
Not your mother's shaking beef... These melt-in-your-mouth morsels were scrambled with scallops, calamari and shrimp, garlic fried rice and a soft egg and served with a lime. The perfect jetlag cure.
In honor of our friend Rebecca Blood, finished the day with our three favorites, which she first introduced us to: Pear Riesling Sorbet, Goat Cheese with Cherries and Sweet Corn Blackberry Ice Cream.
