Spotted May 17, 2011i kid you not when i say this is one of the best eggs benedict dishes i've had in auckland. the two huge-as poached eggs had the absolute perfect egg white texture that wasn't rubbery and the yolks were the right runny consistency. satisfying chockfuls of ham, wilted spinach that don't actually taste like unseasoned chlorophyll and finally, a hollandaise sauce that tastes more like butter than that milky cream every other cafe appears to think is hollandaise. -
Spotted March 19, 2011not bad. eggs decently poached with a medium level of runniness. black pudding decent, nothing great - definitely had better ones.-

Spotted November 20, 2010don't be deceived by the seemingly mediocre serving. it's actually very good. their muffin, although small, was of a pleasantly chewy texture and their hollandaise was sufficiently creamy. -

Spotted November 15, 2010see smoked salmon eggs benedict. guess this shows that their eggs benedict are consistent, at least -
Spotted November 15, 2010surprisingly filling - pretty good. it's very basic, but they thankfully do the basics pretty well. perfectly poached eggs with ze runny yolks, generous hollandaise serving (very rich stuff too), and quite the mounds of salmon. the little pinch of mesclun does feel slightly forced, though, and i would've appreciated larger muffins for maximum hollandaise mopping capacities, but perhaps tis just a sign of bountiful toppings-
Brad Howland LOL -loved your descript of that --haha, I love ze runny yolks too. Gotta have the big muffins for the mopping' capacities too. I like -making me drool as I type...
meei haha we-ell at least you know what you'll be getting for breakfast tomorrow morning now ;)

Spotted October 03, 2010not bad at all - eggs were almost perfectly poached and the spinach, mushrooms and potatoes all perfectly seasoned. i thought the sauce was rather odd, though - the hollandaise tasted more aioli-like than anything else -
