Spotted August 13, 2011the only thing that irks me about the bodhi tree is its slight overpriciness. three chunks of beef and a splash of tangy-tamarind liquid for $15? and the serves of their mains are tapas-sized, too as they're meant for sharing. it's tastes okay, but you can be sure i won't be ordering this again, especially not at that price point. -
Spotted June 14, 2011this was pretty bad - i probably wouldn't want to ever have it again even if someone offered to foot my bill. nothing particularly wrong with the ingredients used, but the laksa soup was so tepid and blah. probably also worth noting that the food comes out of the kitchen suspiciously quickly. -
Spotted June 14, 2011not bad at all, actually. thick and textured, although the chicken was waaay too tough. roti warm and crisp, although it could be flakier. would satisfy a curry craving, but not exactly the kind of place you're be rushing to return to.-

Spotted April 22, 2011tastes. like. home. a no-frills dish - thick milky curry, perfectly tender chicken chunks (bone and all), potatoes. nothing else, but it tastes like home. the single offender to be blamed for our excessive rice intake tonight. -

Spotted January 19, 2011mild and sweet, probably also thanks to the usage of pineapple to flavour the curry. beef cooked well enough to pull apart, but not quite a melt-in-your-mouth tender. the chew's quite endearing, though. -

Spotted December 25, 2010one gets to determine the level of chilli heat they desired from their curry - i ordered a 4 out of 5, and i didn't think it was very hot. it is a rather japanese thing to underestimate the heat level of a dish. curry was thick and almost potato-ey, chicken katsu well prepared. -

Spotted December 21, 2010sweet for a curry. like how thick it was, not so much the flavour. the vegies were hard and felt undercooked, but the chicken was soft and a tender kind of chewy -

Spotted October 30, 2010i'm afraid i'm not well versed enough in indian spice and sauce vocabulary, but suffice to say this was a most pleasant smogarsbord of flavours with a chockful of chickpeas and a couple of huge-as samosas peeking from below. -

Spotted August 29, 2010curry nothing special, but you wouldn't be able to fault with it either. their basmati rice, on the other hand, is DIVINE. absolutely perfect. value for $10 with a drink. -
