mmm brownie! this brownie, in my humble opinion, embodies the perfect brownie texture - fudgy, eggishly moist and not quite solid in texture but manages to keep its shape, held together by a crisp, crackly exterior.

outpost is loved as much for its food as it is for its coffee. i sure hope their food isn't anything like their cakes - if it was, people need to be going to check if their taste buds are malfunctioning.

decent, i suppose. more cakey than fudgy. it was nice to see vanilla bean bits in the ice cream, although the ice cream wasn't especially wonderful.

just the right texture - crackly crust and moist, fudgy centre. real chocolatey flavour as well. a classic done right.

nothing spectacular, but still thoroughly enjoyable. and quite a bargain for $2.
